Growth regulators play a crucial role during growth and development and are a possible approach to improving plants economic grain yield. In this experiment, the possible of promote growth of conola during two growth stage by exogenous application of Salicylic acid on chlorophyll content, yield and yield components was investigated. A feild experiment was conducted in the research farm of Faculty of Agriculture, Tarbiat Modares University. The experiment was designed in RCBD with three replications. To improve above traits, Salicylic acid was applied in four concentration (0, 100, 200 and 400 µM) during two different stage (first time in autum and second time at the end of winter) in two cultivar (Licord and RGS). Although all salicylic acid concentration improved the conola yield, the application of 100 µM provided better effect when compared to the other concentration. The content of chlorophyll total was higher in 100 µM in second stage of application than Licord. Salicylic acid foliar application led to increase in seed yield. The highest plant high, 100 seeds weight and plant biomass were obtained in Licord resistant cultivar. The highest pod number per plants and seed number per pod were observed from Licord which was treated with 200 µM salicylic acid at first time. Also, salicylic acid lead to increase in seed yield by 13%. Whilst, cultivar treatment had no effect on economic output. Howevere results revealed that application with salicylic acid increase canola yield and its component.
